/a>\nCME Webinar with Continuing Education Credits In diesem CME-zertifizi
erten Webinar dreht sich alles um die konkrete Anwendung von Virtual Reali
ty Exposure Therapy (VRET) bei depressiven Erkrankungen. Statt rein theore
tischer Betrachtungen stehen praxisnahe Vorgehensweisen\, Tools und erprob
te Einsatzmöglichkeiten im Vordergrund. We demonstrate through real case
examples how virtual environments can be effectively used for activation\,
mood enhancement\, and motivation promotion\, such as through VR-supporte
d behavioral activation or imaginative techniques. This involves the direc
t application in your practice: from selecting suitable scenarios to quest
ions of integration into existing treatment plans.. The webinar is aimed a
t licensed therapists who want to not only get to know VR but also activel
y integrate it into their work with patients experiencing depressive sympt
oms. They will receive practical insights on how to combine established me
thods with innovative VR applications – evidence-based and implementatio
n-oriented.. Literature Tip: The study of Cho et al.\, 2024\,shows that VR
-based biofeedback interventions can significantly reduce depressive sympt
oms. After four weeks of intervention with VR-based biofeedback\, a signif
icant improvement was achieved on established depression scales\, with the
effect being observable in both subclinical and clinically manifest forms
of depression. The Stanford-Studie demonstrates that Virtual Reality Expo
sure Therapy (VRET) can lead to a significant reduction in depressive symp
toms\, particularly in patients who have difficulty engaging with traditio
nal therapy methods. A randomized study from Stanford University showed im
provements in mood and social activity over four weeks with VR-based inter
 ventions compared to conventional methods.
