Lab E virtuallythere & VPP in BDP – Advancing Digitalization in Psychotherapy
The advancing digitalization opens up exciting perspectives for psychotherapeutic care. Modern tools such as Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence create new ways to improve access to psychotherapeutic services, reduce waiting times, and establish innovative care concepts. At the same time, psychotherapists face new challenges: data protection, application selection, and maintaining a trusting therapeutic relationship must now be managed with digital competence. Therefore, it is crucial to build knowledge, provide guidance, and shape digitalization responsibly.
Against this background, the Verband der Psychotherapeutinnen und Psychotherapeuten (VPP) im Berufsverband der Deutschen Psychologinnen und Psychologen (BDP) in the fall a collaboration with Lab E virtuallythere, aimed at specifically advancing Virtual Reality in the psychotherapeutic context.
